"Mr. B. H. Hill
Niagara Falls Ont.
19th Regiment
Dear B, I intended sending you a letter when I went to church last night but I'm on the sick list. Had to give in yesterday noon but I think it's just a slight attack of grief. I felt better this morning, Mrs. C is in an awful place with Kurt, in bed too.
Received your letter and contents on Saturday afternoon. When are you coming. Shall look for you at Westminster.
Love from M.
Received your letter + contents on Saturday afternoon. When are you coming? Shall look for you in [ ].
Trolley Line Through the Niagara Gorge, Niagara Falls
The ruggedness and the picturesqueness of nature about Niagara Falls has been seriously modified by the arts of man, the latest invasion being the construction of Trolley Line through the Gorge, starting Prospect Park and passing close to Whirlpool Rapids and the River, until it reaches Queenstown Heights. The ride is one of the sensations of pleasure and surprise, which sometimes approaches trepidation, 'as towering rocks, looming threateningly over the tracks cut through bluffs, produce a feeling of insecurity."
